Job Duties:  BP3 Global Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking Software Engineers to support, install, migrate and maintain BPM software and solutions. Individuals will apply advanced-level knowledge of engineering and software principles and concepts, as well as experience with IBM's BPM suite to perform the following duties: 

  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Develop and update job knowledge/skills by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or any related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s). In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any related field of study plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).

Qualified applicants must have demonstrable knowledge, proficiency and experience with the following:

  • BPMN, Java SE/EE, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL
  • WebSphere, JBoss and WebLogic
  • Oracle, DB2 and MS SQL
  • Java EE, SOA and Client Server.

Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with the stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties.
