BPM Developer

BP3 Global Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking experienced BPM Developers to design, develop, and implement business process workflows in IBM Business Process Management (BPM) platform. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles, as well as experience using standard occupational tools, to perform the following duties:

  • Create specifications and design software solutions based on clients' needs 
  • Develop integration services
  • Prepare requirement definition, design, and technical specifications
  • Configure complex workflows and support the development of interfaces 
  • Implement software solutions based on IBM's BPM product
  • Work with business analysts to setup and model processes within BPM
  • Test and debug coding solutions and guide clients through successful software deployments 
  • Consult and deliver custom solutions for clients
  • Model business processes for automation

This position does not supervise other personnel.

The normal minimum requirements for the offered position are as follows: 

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics) field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in any related positions that provided the required skills and abilities.
  • In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics) field of study, plus at least 5 years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s).

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency and knowledge with the following:

1. BPM Platforms such as IBM BPM 7.1, IBM BPM 7.5 and/or IBM BPM 8.0 

2. Programming languages such as BPMN, Java, J2EE and/or PL/SQL 

3. Application servers such as Web Logic, JBoss and/or Websphere 

4. Database management systems such as Oracle, DB2 and/or MS SQL Server


Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with the stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties.

This position requires 50-75% travel within the United States.
